My eyes are gazing on perfection, My heart is aching with such feeling, To be alive is almost too sublime to bear. We’re here and we’re gone. Carpet of rusty moss. Blooms of green lichen. Dark smell of creek water. Ferns, black against a pale sky. Torn muslin, fluted like a nautilus shell. This quiet beauty. Everything happens at the right time. Everything happens in the right place.
